So it's a step up from "francophone", but still...

Each year, the New Oxford American Dictionary chooses a single new word that sums up the zeitgeist. For the year 2007? Locavore.

Boo! (I mean, I'm all for the concept. Much as I wish french speakers no specific harm. But my disdain for the word stands.)
