I promise this is my last post about the weather

Marveling at Austin weather is so 2006. But hot on the heels of LAST NIGHT'S SNOWFALL, I have just discovered that it is 35 degrees in Austin, Texas and 63 degrees in New York City. Winter! We welcome thee to Texas!

And now back to our regularly scheduled 74 degrees and humid.

  2. Meanwhile it's been really blustery and cold on the coast here. Yay for real winter weather! Instead of rainy and muggish, which was my experience last winter. I pulled out my Chicago/Connecticut proof winter coat for the first time, and I've literally been wearing it ALL day inside and out. Now, if only we could get some of that Austin snow.

  3. Southern Vermont this week: Monday it was below zero when I got up, with a wind chill even lower; remained wicked cold all day. Tuesday morning we had 3 inches of snow on the ground. Yesterday was 60s & rainy, with wind gusts up to 50 mph. Today we've had freezing rain continually, supposed to continue until it turns to snow around noon tomorrow.

    Boo-yah.
